Saint John’s Cathedral in Denver exists
as a house of prayer for all people and
the Episcopal Church in Colorado.
If you’re visiting with us today, please fill out a welcome card here.
Through the union of Word, Sacrament, and music, Saint John’s Cathedral shares the loving presence of God in Christ with all who enter our doors. Our beliefs about God, meaning, and love are best experienced in the ancient liturgies we pray and sing week in and week out. Join our growing and inclusive community as we strive to follow Jesus Christ in faithful and creative ways.
We are very excited to share with you that Saint John’s Cathedral has received an anonymous gift of 4 million dollars to update our HVAC system. Renovation will begin in early summer, and we hope that the work in the cathedral will be completed by the holidays and the work in the rest of the building will be completed in the new year. Stay up-to-date on the HVAC renovation here.
The announcement of this project coincides with announcing our plan to expand our Sunday offerings for in-person worship. Beginning on the Feast of Pentecost, May 23, we will expand our worship opportunities to include three Sunday services with the capacity for in-person worship, as well as continue offering in-person reception of communion and informal time for fellowship on the cathedral lawns.
“A new command I give you: Love one another.
As I have loved you, so you must love one another. ”
