As Patrick L. reported last week, our website has a brand new look! This new design is focused on newcomers and long-time parishioners, with particular attention to making finding information as easy as possible. I wanted to share some notes on a few things that have shifted.
Weekly Offerings & Leaflets: At the top of any page of the website, you’ll see a tab labeled This Week at the Cathedral. In addition to a list of our upcoming events, you’ll also see a button labeled Service Leaflets. Clicking here will take you to a landing page with leaflets for all services. If you’re at the cathedral on Sunday morning, you can still scan the QR code at one of the entrances and access the leaflets.
10:30 am Livestream: On Sundays and other major feasts, when you go to our homepage, you’ll see a banner at the top that says “Watch Live”. Clicking this will instantly take you to our livestream page, which now has the service leaflet embedded alongside it, so you have everything you need to worship at home in one place. This is the most straightforward way of accessing the 10:30 broadcast; you can also still watch on Facebook and YouTube as before.
Sunday Forum Livestream: Similarly, on Sunday mornings before 9 am, there will be a banner that you can click on that will take you to the Sunday Forum page. In addition to the live video of the Forum, you can also access our playlist of previous forums on this page at any time.
As with any change, there will undoubtedly be bumps in the road. I thank you in advance for your patience as we iron out the last few wrinkles in the website design.
