Our earliest service of Holy Communion is a quiet, contemplative liturgy held in the cathedral nave. Prayers are said in the Elizabethan vernacular familiar to those raised on with the 1928 Book of Common Prayer. This Rite I Eucharist is accompanied by the organ and a small choir.
This service of Holy Communion is led by the cathedral choir and organ, with a wide variety of hymns and anthems. This liturgy features full processions, incense for the Church’s feasts, and invites the full participation of young children who are invited to the nave carpet for the celebration of Holy Eucharist.
Children’s Chapel: 10:30 am in Room 103.
Nursery care is available.
This evening service of Holy Communion led by The Wilderness Band allows attendees to look inward and explore different prayer exercises. A lay team designs season-specific prayer stations, complete with original music and visuals and liturgical texts both ancient and new, offering worshipers the space to engage the contemporary world with integrity and creativity.
