Youth Group

Youth focus on building a supportive peer community in order to help one another navigate the challenges of middle and high school. Youth explore how they see themselves within the Bible, but they also are encouraged to openly explore faith and doubt in a safe and welcoming environment.

  • Youth Formation

In youth formation, youth explore their doubts and questions about Scripture and Episcopal theology. We meet every Sunday from 9:15 to 10:15 am in Room 300.

  • Super Sunday

Once a month, youth gather on Sunday afternoons. We go on various fun outings in Denver such as bowling and ice skating, or we stay on cathedral grounds to play lawn games or engage in community building activities.

Times and locations vary; please see the graphic at the bottom of this page for details.

  • Confirmation

All high school youth are invited to join youth confirmation this spring. Confirmation classes will take place from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on the following Sundays: February 13, February 27, March 13, and March 21. Classes will be taught and facilitated by Youth Minister Christina Rutland and adult sponsors.

Parents and youth interested in Confirmation are required to attend a meeting on January 30 from 11:30am to 12:15 pm. We also require that youth attend all four sessions if they would like to be confirmed.
