This is a multigenerational offering designed to help us explore the transitions of later life, those in the midst of transitions, and those supporting loved ones through new stages of life. Caring for our community as Jesus taught us means considering all the ways we can show compassion for life’s journey.
Over the course of three to four drop-in workshops a year we will aim to help all people a) better understand the financial and legal logistics of life transitions from retirement to assisted living; b) better navigate the medical field from institutions to diagnoses; as well as c) better approach aging transitions with a pastoral and compassionate awareness, with particular attention to the well–being of caretakers.
