Sacred Ground Dialogue Circle

Sacred Ground is an 11-session film- and readings-based series about race, grounded in faith. Small discussion groups are invited to walk through chapters of America’s history of race and racism and their connections to family story, economic class, and political and regional identity. Sacred Ground is a non-judgmental, non-shaming space to explore the history of race and racial injustice in America within a faith community, developed by The Episcopal Church’s Becoming Beloved Community initiative. Sacred Ground will meet in person at Saint John’s every other Wednesday evening from February 7 through June 26, 2024, facilitated by lay leaders experienced with the curriculum and anti-racism work.
