Dean’s Forum with the Rt. Reverend Neil Alexander

Bishop Neil Alexander writes that the liturgy of All Saints is an Easter liturgy; the only principal feast that punctuates the long season of ordinary time between Trinity Sunday and Christmas. Its celebration should be as significant ritually, aesthetically, musically, and homiletically as all of the other principal feasts.” Join Dean Richard for an in-person conversation with Bishop Alexander to explore the origin and development of the feasts with a view toward their present-day celebration and pastoral content. And, as Saint John’s columbarium is named All Souls, we will learn more about the meaning and history of this mysterious name for a beloved space.
