Approaching the 2020 Presidential Election, we have an opportunity to reflect on the nature of the social challenges presenting themselves to our nation at this time. Questions of injustice, oppression, systemic violence, and inequity challenge us to think not only about our present moment, but also the historical trajectory that brought us to this point and where we might go from here. This presentation will address the possible place of transitional justice in the United States today, while also taking into consideration how this is connected to our foreign affairs more broadly. Jessica will share her insight and leave ample time for discussion based on audience interest points through question and answer.
