Dean’s Forum with Beth Hendrix

Election Equality with the League of Women Voters

Since its inception in 1920, the League of Women Voters has remained nonpartisan, raising issues and legislation above partisan politics and promoting greater citizen involvement through inclusive advocacy for voter rights. Beth Hendrix, the first Executive Director of the Colorado chapter, started her lifelong work for social justice as a member of an activism-centered Episcopal church in Pasadena, riding on the shoulders of civil rights icon, César Chávez. Join Beth to learn what issues and initiatives the LWVCO is focused on in this midterm season and how we can participate in dismantling systems of oppression to preserve democracy.
