Evensong
This ancient service of Evening Prayer is offered in the style of the English Cathedral Choral Tradition taken from the Book of Common Prayer. Evensong is sung by the Cathedral Choir on the third Sunday of each month September through May (except December and April). Amidst the sweet smell of incense in our Gothic cathedral, Psalms, scripture readings, canticles, anthems, hymns, and prayers are offered to God at the close of the day.
