Cathedral Night

Cathedral Night is a beloved tradition at Saint John’s: an evening of worship, fellowship, and formation. This spring, we will host Cathedral Night on Feburary 8, February 15, and March 1 through 22.

5:30 pm – Holy Eucharist in Saint Martin’s Chapel
6 pm – Dinner in Dagwell Hall
7 pm – Cathedral Night Conversation and Small Group Formation

Cathedral Night offers us an opportunity to connect with one another and share important steps in our lives of faith.

Cathedral Night Conversations

Awakening: the Heart of Prayer with Bishop Rob O’Neill
Wednesdays during Cathedral Night: March 1 through March 22
7 pm in Saint Martin’s Chapel

For over two thousand years, followers of Jesus have recognized that the insight, wisdom, and compassion needed to become instruments of peace, healing, and transformation are realized only when rooted and grounded in the practice of prayer. But what is prayer, really, and how does the practice of prayer lead us into more loving and courageous action in the world?

This short course is an opportunity to explore these questions, to expand our understanding of prayer, develop or deepen our prayer practices, and in turn experience a dynamic intimacy with divine Love that is the heart of the Christian faith.

Each session will include a presentation from Bishop Rob O’Neill, a time of practice, an opportunity for reflection and discussion, and a simple exercise to take with us into the following week.

Cathedral Night Dinner

There is a suggested donation for dinner as we financially sustain this beloved tradition. You will be able to donate in-person with cash or via QR code with a credit card. You can also donate online here. This donation is not a requirement for dining, but rather an intention to bring awareness to the logistical and financial requirements of Cathedral Night. Your generous support enables us to make these dinners accessible for everyone and further enrich the life of our parish.

Suggested donation: $3 per child, $6 per adult, with a cap of $18 per family.
