Accessibility

  • Belonging Before You Arrive

Being welcoming and inclusive of all means that we strive to ensure all people feel connected to God and are seen, known, and loved in our space and community. To this end, Saint John’s is committed to being a space that is accessible to all who enter.

All entrances on our campus have ADA-compliant ramps for wheelchair users.  In the cathedral nave, we also have designated seating areas for wheelchair users — please ask an usher if you need assistance finding one.

  • Hearing and Vision Assistance

If you use a hearing aid, the cathedral nave is equipped with a hearing loop for those needing it. To connect, switch your hearing aid to “T-coil” mode. If you need help connecting to the hearing loop, please speak to an usher or Enrique Cintron, Digital Ministries Coordinator. We also have hearing assist devices available for you to use – please ask an usher if you would like one.

In addition to paper leaflets for services, we also utilize digital, responsive leaflets that allow you to change the text size for those needing vision assistance. You can visit our homepage or scan a QR code at one of our entrances to open a digital leaflet on a phone or tablet. If you need assistance accessing the digital leaflet, speak to an usher before the service.
