Saint John's Cathedral is an Episcopal community in Denver
Saint John’s Cathedral exists as a house of prayer for the Episcopal Church in Colorado and the people of metropolitan Denver. Through the union of Word, Sacrament, and music, we share the loving presence of God in Christ with all who enter our doors. Our beliefs about God, meaning, and love are best experienced in the ancient liturgies we pray and sing week in and week out. Join us as we strive to follow Jesus Christ in faithful and creative ways.
If you’re new and worshipping with us online, please fill out a welcome card and a member of the clergy will connect with you.

What is the Sunday schedule?
We have a traditional Eucharist at 8:00 am and a choral Eucharist at 10:30 am, with a coffee hour following each service. Both services have a leaflet that contains all the words of the liturgy and hymn numbers other music in the red hymnal in the pew racks. If you aren’t sure what to do, please don’t hesitate to ask others in the pews around you for help or follow others’ lead.
In between morning services, we offer formation for all ages from 9:15 – 10:15 am. Children 5 and under are welcome in the Nursery. Information on formation for children and youth is here, and the Dean’s Forum schedule is here. These formation opportunities are available during the program year, September through May.
We also have an evening service at 6:00 pm called the Wilderness, which is an ancient-future liturgy with communion. Join us after for a short reception with refreshments and conversation.More information on services
Where should my children go?
Children are welcome at all our services, and we also offer Children’s Chapel for the first part of the service at 10:30 am in the Saint Francis Chapel. Ushers and Greeters will direct you to our children’s area. The Nursery is open for children up to age 5 from 7:30 am to 12:15 pm for Sunday morning services.More Information for Children
